I spent the weekend in Seattle, and while I was there, I did all the usual Seattle things. I walked Pike's Market. I took pictures from the Space Needle. And I saw a giant 26-foot high, 8-ton status of Anubis floating on a barge through Portage Bay.
I was lucky enough to be in Washington, D.C., as the Space Shuttle Discovery flew over the city on the way to its new home, the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum.
