Before watching the Dodgers and Angels clash in Los Angeles, we took a ride on the recently reopened Angels Flight and ate pupusas inside the Grand Central Market.
With only one day in Seattle, we checked out the Pike Place Market, went to the top of the frightening Space Needle, and had a visit with "The Green Fairy."
On our last day in Berlin, we visited the second largest department store in Europe, went inside a church that's still standing after it was bombed in WWII, and ate at a food stall in a Christmas Market.
From the pastry place for breakfast to Potsdamer Platz for dinner, it seemed like everywhere we went today we were reminded of the Berlin Wall.
We had plans to see as much of Frankfurt as we could in one day. That didn't happen. Thanks to a delayed flight, early holiday closures and a "1" that looked like a "7", a day in the financial capital of Germany was wasted.
Even Christmas scrooges can have a fun time at the Christmas market in Old Town Prague. Food. Shops. Music. There’s enough here to make you visit twice. And we did.
If Napoleon was a “Star Trek” fan, he would built La Grande Arche De La Defense instead of the Arc de Triomphe.
